Sinusitis is increasingly being diagnosed by pediatricians, otolaryngologist and allergists. It has become the most common ailment in the United States, surpassing arthritis and hypertension, according to the National Center for Disease Statistics. Approximately 12% of the entire population suffers from sinusitis at some time, with millions of days forfeited from work or school.
