Granular Cell Tumor of the Larynx: Report of Two Pediatric Cases
Granular cell tumors aren’t common. When they do happen, these neoplasms in the head and neck tend to happen more frequently in women than in men, and in African-Americans more than in other racial groups. Interestingly, though the tumors happen more frequently in women, they show more laryngotracheal involvement in men. Dr. Rande Lazar, a Memphis ear, nose, and throat doctor, talks on two pediatric cases of granular cell tumors in this paper, hosted on the Memphis Ear Nose and Throat blog.
